What kind of counseling do you do? 
Individual, couple/marital, family, adolescent and child counseling (age 4 and up). 

What issues do you deal with?
Many therapeutic issues ranging from stress management, drug/alcohol dependency, depression, anxiety, divorce/remarriage, conflict management, infidelity, sexual addiction, co-dependency, spiritual issues, anger management and pre-marital.

Do you have any groups? 
No groups are offered at this time.

What if I am not a Christian? Do I have to be a Christian to see a counselor here?
No, come as you are.

Where are you located?  
The office is located at 1819 E. 72nd St, Tacoma,WA 98404.

Do you have a sliding fee scale?
Currently, there is not a sliding scale in place. Payment plans can be negotiated.  

Do you take my insurance?
Currently, Premera and First Choice Health Network are the preferred providers. Many others are covered at non-network rates.

How long are your sessions?
Generally, most sessions run 50 minutes. If you wish to have longer session that may arranged.

Do I have to pay at the time of service? 
If you have no insurance, you are expected to pay at the time of service. If you have insurance, and your counselor is a preferred provider, you are expected to pay your copay. (We bill for coinsurances and deductibles). If your counselor is out of network, you are expected to pay any copays, coinsurances or deductibles at the time of service.  If insurance sends the payments to you, you are expected to pay in full at the time of service.

Do you take Medicare, Medicaid or DSHS coupons? 
No.

Can you presecribe medications? 
No. We do not have prescriptive authority.

Do you take credit/debit cards?
Hope Seed is not currently set up to take credit or debit; just cash and check.

Can I make payment arrangements?
Yes. 

What are your hours?
Hours vary.

How long do I have to be in counseling? 
This varies depending on your issue. This will be decided between you and your counselor.

Will you bill my insurance? 
We will bill all insurances as a courtesy to the client.

Are you wheel chair accessible? 
Yes

Do I need a referral? 
Check with your insurance plan before you come in. Some require one and some do not.

Can I bring my children?
We ask that you do not bring your children unless they are the client or will be part of the session.

Do you have evenings and weekends?
Some evenings and weekends are available; because  these are frequently requested times they may not be available when you call. The more flexible you can be the easier it is to get an appointment.
